Nexus Subhost/Standalone Plugins Host

I usethis to build rigs to play in a solo show. Works perfect!

I liked Live Rig but was limitted not being able to use a couple of my favorite plug ins. I like the versatility of the scene tabs. It just took me a little time to fiquire out the saving and now im working on the midi switching. Probably just me being dense.

A VST loader on its own is hard enough to come by, Waves has a free one, but I didn't like that it was only available for download through their hub, a bit difficult to find even then, and this one is FAR more powerful, if noticeably more complicated as a result, and therefore a bit daunting if you aren't sure what you're doing signal flow-wise or with technology.

Loading any VST is just the start, being able to route signal between them in any way imaginable is a game changer, I'm not even sure I'll use the channel strips in FL Studio, Pro Tools, Audacity, etc. anymore because this is SO MUCH more versatile.

Beyond that, the included plugins are a cherry on top, something I didn't even know I needed, but don't know how I ever lived without less than 24 hours after purchase. Included things like a drive, noise gate, guitar amp are very useful if you don't have a separate, massive library of plugins. The Crossover I am beyond excited to use. NXA A/B Blend specifically is what I've been looking for ever since I started using Pro Tools, Splitter and Mixer also seem profoundly helpful for building complex software signal flow. My only complaint with them is that they aren't available as VST plugins to use elsewhere, but given the complexity of their design, I understand exactly why they are not.

Quite frankly, the way this is laid out could replace a DAW, adding features like multiple inputs and outputs in place of "tracks" in a traditional DAW could be an incredibly powerful concept on top of what is already the best $25 I have ever spent (it's currently on sale, but this would be well worth the $100) they are asking. Buy this, if you understand how powerful this is, you will want it.

If you're looking to save CPU power or need a flexible solution for creating complex chains of both new and legacy plugins without worrying about DAW compatibility this plugin is an excellent choice.
It also makes switching between DAWs much easier, as your entire mix chain can be transferred and applied in just minutes.
The standalone mode is another major plus, allowing you to play with mix-ready settings without even opening your DAW. Just awesome!
I highly recommend Nexus Subhost to anyone aiming to streamline, harmonize, and elevate their mixing process.

This is a fantastic concept and product for running complex plugin combinations in DAWs.
It would also cater for the perfect live rig, running amp and FX combinations plus mixing and mastering tools. It just has some quirks regarding I/O handling right now on mac. I hope to sort these out soon!
