Excellent simulation of the real device! And a lot more!

Beautifully sounding clean (to crunch) channels (perfect for eg. these typical Hendrix clean tones), very flexible adjustable overdrive to high-gain channels, excellent dynamic reaction to attack, great harmonics reproduction and a lot of classic British tones.

The additional featuresare an advantage. One complaint from my side: As the power amp section anyway is an addition, I think, it would not have been too complicated to also have implemented a Resonance control into it too.

Useful I find the separate Pre and Post Cleaner sections, as they alter the sound in a different way.

I also found it positive that the power amp is deactivatable, so you can use the preamp alone or combine it with another external power amp.

My second complaint concerns the built-in Marshall 4x12 Greenbacks cabinet. Does not sound very authentically to me, to thin an shrill, if compared with my other Greenback 412 IR's.

But you can anyway alternatively load and mix your favorite IR‘s or deactivate the whole cabinet section.

If you eg. use the Nembrini IR Loader, it also offers an optional power amp section and an - even more precisely than a Resonance control adjustable - Bass Enhancer, so with this additional plugin I easily get my two complaints solved.

Apart from my few complaints most probably the best choice, if you look for an authentically sounding JMP-1 simulation plugin, with all the additional features even more.

Another awesome amp from Nembrini. So many great 80's hard rock/metal tones I can get with this that have a distinct voice and character from the other Marshall amps. Was an instant buy 10 min after trying.

the emulation is basically spotless, so now we can focus on how lucky we are now to have access to a legacy, hard to get, combination of gear who was used on so much classic records and live performance (iron maiden is one of them)

the includer power amp is a proper british inspired one, with (virtual) el34 in it and it really adds to the tone

the jfx-1 section add tons of usefull effects whi are saved.in any presets you make.

the cab section is almost perfection, all its missing is a t75 based cabs but heh, just load any IR based on them and you're set.

I had the original hardware unit of this thing. Nembrini sounds better and is more controllable than the original hardware IMO. Get this you wont be disappointed at all. Its very easy to dial in the perfect Marshall tone. Im using the 4X12 Green cab in it. 10 Stars. ( can I gigve it that many? ;-) )
