Sounds amazing!

I always wanted a JCM 800 but never got one. The JCM 800 is one of the most sought after amps in the history of rock and metal music. And, I had yet to even get a decent VST of a JCM 800 to add to my collection. This thing sounds excellent out of the box! One of the best VST amps I have purchased. I was able to easily get good tones quickly. I was actually surprised at how well its cabinet emulation sounded. If you need really modern amounts of gain just throw a decent distortion pedal VST before this amp and get anything you want out of it!

Thanks Nembrini! I look forward to more of your products in the future!

VST wonder

This thing is like the Swiss army knife of VST's. If you have Music Lab, Ample or Kontact products, say no more. The front end has no fizzies like other amp sims and plays clean or distorted with no degradation in sound or color. In fact it has the ability to compensate for the lack of character and depth of sample based products, as do ALL the Nembrini family products. When using other amp sims it's a nightmare to dial in "that sound". These products are like driving a Cadillac. Smooth, clean and solid. The versatility and sound exceeds your wildest dreams And then you find your impulse library takes on new life. Simply fantastic.

Classic (Heavier) Rock Tones!

I must admit, I always liked Plexis or Hot-Rod-Plexis more than JCM's, but a JCM nevertheless is a iconic, unique amp and still today sound good.
This version - apart from the authentic tones - also has the advantage of an additional built-in reverb, otherwise it is sonically a typical JCM.
I have made the experience that especially authentic Marshall tones seem to be hardly programmable, most Marshall based plugins, which I have heard or tested did not come very close to the real amps, especially treble often sounds wrong to me, but also bass and reaction to attack, but Mr. Nembrini seems to be one of the few programmers, who managed to make theís simulation sounding right.

Sounds authentically, reacts well to attack, harmonics reproduction is good, so this is in my opinion one of the few convincing JCM plugins available.
