legendary BROWN SOUND”

Mrh159 Brown Sound Guitar Amplifier modelled from a vintage Marshall Super Lead 1959* 100W, one of the most famous amps ever. A Super Lead 100W on top two 4x12 cabs is, still for many players, the ultimate rock guitar rig. With the Mrh159 Brown Sound Guitar Amplifier, you can switch to a modded Marshall Super Lead 1959* to achieve the legendary BROWN SOUND.

With two channels, the Mrh159 Brown Sound Guitar Amplifier provides the tools to create your desired tone. Channel 1 is voiced for a higher treble response and Channel 2 for normal response, each channel has two inputs and its own loudness control.

Changes on the stock amplifier for achieving the legendary BROWN SOUND:

  • Variac Variable Transformer to reduce the main voltage to 90V
  • EL34 tubes changed with 6CA7 Fat Bottle
  • Middle tone stack potentiometer changed to 50K ohm
  • Fat cap 25uF on V2 tube

The main part of theBROWN SOUNDis the cabinet loaded with JBL* D120 on top and Celestion* G12M 25W Greenback on bottom blended with Shure* SM57 microphone.

With Mrh159 Brown Sound Guitar Amplifier is possible to choose between six different guitar cabinets, four microphone emulations with on/off axis position switch, continuous position and distance knobs.

A complete Mixer section with SolosMutesPans and Faders allows you to blend together the two microphones with the ambience.

Impulse Loader lets you load up to three third-party impulse responses that you can even blend together using volume, pan, phase, solo and mute controls.

A useful browser window has been added so you can easily search through all your third-party IR files.

Noise Gate section plus a Cleaner circuit to reduce rumbling and harshness is included

Instant brown sound

I can get all the classic EVH sounds with this plugin.

Killer Plexi tones here

I own plugins from many other companies and even a Fractal Axe FX III.
This plugin beats all of them for an accurate 1959 tone. Awesome authentic plexi tones and with the added Variac......just insane!
Please do a JMP 2203 and a JTM 45 next!

Plexi in your PC

I've played through a lot of different amp sims, this one has got to be one of the best I've used. The voltage variant is dope and the tones are unbelievable!
The cabs and mic IRs are so amazing to work with. Never before have I had the ease to dial in a killer rock tone, a sweet twangy sound or a brutal metal grind, all in one amp sim. The pre-sets are friggin' dope and my inner Van Halen is stoked!
Get this Amp SIM....NOW!!
All of Nembrini's amps and effects are freaking the stuff of legend y'all. I haven't fired up a tube amp in my studio for months!!!

Simply the "Holy Grail"!

Although a good Plexi still is the „Holy Grail“ of guitar amp tones for me, most Plexi simulations, which I have heard up to now, sounded really strange to me, far away from the real amp(s), quite the opposite here.

Great, very authentically sounding and reacting Pexi tones, due to the linking option also with all necessary channel mixing options, plus the addition of the, in some aspects different, typical Arredondo/Variac/Van Halen Hot Rod Plexi.

The best Plexi plugin, which I know.

Nothing more to say, just plugin in and rock off!

Heavy and versatile, a fun surprise for me

I wasn't really looking for another "hot rodded Plexi" amp sim, but when I demo'd this one it surprised me in a great way and made the case for itself big time. It is not a sound like one that I had in my toolkit previously. I really like the emulated Variac, it really does change the sound and "texture" of the modeler's response considerably, and the included cabinets are very useful. Good tone shaping options help to complete the amp package.

I have to say, I usually don't get along all that well with cab sims, and typically I prefer to use IRs from my collection that I've been putting together since the 2000s - but Nembrini amps have cabinet sims that sound excellent, and are intuitively configurable to get good results quickly. Given how important the cab sim is to getting a great recorded tone from amp sims, that's a real plus.

I don't use this to record stuff like Eddie Van Halen, though I have tremendous respect for everything he accomplished musically & find him personally inspirational - the world of guitar got smaller when he passed. I just wanted to note, it's very useful for many styles, not just trying to play Eruption :)

As long as what you're looking for is heavy, defined, punchy, and lively you will probably dig this amp sim's sound!
